Either night here are some cool things to do around Blacksburg on a budget. Now, I realize that these are only four dating ideas, but if you're really looking to do dating unique, there is a website, http: So browse around and see what you can find, because despite the small town feel there is always something going on here. Especially helpful on the weekends and when it gets warmer (outdoor concerts, festivals, and such). You can find some pretty unique stuff on there sometimes. I went on a ghost hunt at a Sanatorium in Radford on a date (weird, but so awesome). Sorry that some of this stuff is outside, but it will get warm eventually and you'll still need date ideas. Close to the nation’s capital, Alexandria has scenic waterfronts, impressive fine dining, historic monuments, and some of the most luxurious lodging options in Virginia. If you are looking for romance, stroll the streets of Alexandria with your loved one and see why Amazon named it the most romantic city in the U.S. for the fifth year.

Although the town of Middleburg isn’t a bustling destination, it offers elegant resorts, scenic vineyards, and some much-needed peace and quiet to visitors looking for a romantic getaway.
